Where I Got My Best Work Done in Marbella

I’ve always thought that the vibe of a place can change the way you work. You know how some cities make you want to nap all day, and others somehow convince you to open your laptop at 8 AM without hating your life? Marbella, for me, sits somewhere in the middle. It has that lazy-summer, “let’s go for a coffee by the beach” charm, but it also has just enough of a creative buzz to keep you moving.

When I first arrived here, I didn’t expect to care much about coworking spaces. I figured I’d work from cafés, maybe my hotel, maybe the beach if I felt brave enough. But after the first week of trying to answer emails with the sun in my eyes and sand stuck to my keyboard, I realised I needed an actual place to focus.

So I started exploring. And honestly, the coworking spots in Marbella surprised me. Each one has its own energy - some are chill and community-focused, others feel like you’ve walked into the lobby of a startup that’s secretly building the next big thing. Along the way I’ve met people from everywhere: freelancers finishing projects for clients back home, digital nomads chasing the sun, and the occasional local who just wants good Wi-Fi and better coffee.

In this blog, I’ll share the coworking spaces I ended up recommending - not because they paid me (I wish), but because they genuinely made my days easier, brighter, and sometimes even a bit more productive. If you’re heading to Marbella soon and want to mix sun, work, and maybe a few new friends, this might save you a bit of time. Let’s get into it.

Centro House Marbella

The first place I ended up trying in Marbella was Centro House, and honestly, it set the bar pretty high. It’s one of those spots where you walk in and immediately think, “Okay… someone really cared about making this nice.” Not just functional - actually nice. The design, the layout, the light, even the chairs - everything feels considered.

I’d heard people talking about coworking on the Costa del Sol like it’s becoming a whole lifestyle, and at Centro House you really feel that shift. Instead of squeezing yourself into a café corner and pretending the noise doesn’t bother you, here you get a space that actually makes you want to sit down and get through your work. There’s plenty of room, different zones depending on your mood, and the kind of atmosphere that somehow makes focusing easier without being dull or overly “office-y.”

What surprised me most, though, is how much they lean into community. Not in a forced way - more like, “Hey, if you want to join a yoga class on Wednesday or meet other people building cool things, here’s the space for it.” And it works. You end up chatting with freelancers, founders, digital nomads… people from everywhere who are in Marbella doing the same thing you are: trying to balance work with a bit of sunshine and a better pace of life.

And speaking of balance - this place is basically a wellness centre disguised as a coworking space. They have a pool, gym, rooftop sun beds (dangerous, because once you go up there for “a quick break,” good luck coming back down), and these big lounge terraces that make you wonder why every workspace can’t just be like this. It’s the kind of setup that actually pulls you out of your laptop every once in a while, which, let’s be honest, most of us probably need.

They also have rooms you can stay in - proper, comfortable, hotel-style rooms, so if you want to roll out of bed and head straight to your desk, everything is already there waiting for you. I didn’t stay overnight, but it’s such a smart idea for anyone passing through Marbella for a few days of both work and sun.

I chose their Flexible Package - basically five days within a month, because I wasn’t sure how much I’d be there. Turns out, more than expected. I kept coming back because it just felt good to work there. The staff is genuinely kind, the location is walkable to Puerto Banús, and there are great lunch spots around if you need a break from your screen.

If I had to sum it up: Centro House is probably one of the best coworking spaces in Marbella. Spacious, modern, super comfortable, and clearly built with love. You really have to go in person to see why people rave about it, but once you do, you’ll get it. I know I’m coming back.

Our Space Marbella

After spending a few days working in Marbella, I wanted to try something a bit more down-to-earth, and that’s how I ended up at Our Space Marbella. It’s definitely less “luxury resort” than some other places, but in a really refreshing way - simple, practical, and surprisingly comfortable. It feels like the kind of workspace that just gets out of your way so you can actually focus.

What I liked right away was how flexible everything is. You can grab a day pass, come in whenever you want between 7 AM and 11 PM, and settle into a spot that feels right. The vibe isn’t overly polished, but it has everything you’d want from a proper coworking environment: bright rooms, clean desks, and enough space that you’re not bumping elbows with people.

I paid 25 euros for a day pass, which honestly felt like a bargain once I realised what was included. Super fast Wi-Fi, meeting rooms you can use if you need privacy, printing, scanning, and this is the part that sold me - unlimited tea, coffee, water, and beer. Yes, beer. Not sure how productive beer actually makes people, but I guess that’s up to each person’s workflow.

There’s also a relaxation room, which I didn’t know I needed until I sat inside for a few minutes and suddenly felt like I could breathe again. And if you’re one of those people who deals with mail, official addresses, or clients popping in, they even handle that stuff for you.

One thing I appreciated is how many chances you get to casually meet people. It’s the kind of space where freelancers and small teams actually chat, share ideas, and help each other out. Not in a forced networking-event way - just naturally.

Design-wise, it’s simple but pleasant. Bright, modern, and not cramped at all. You can tell they really thought about comfort without turning the whole thing into a design showroom. Plus, there’s food and coffee available right there, so you don’t have to wander off when you hit that mid-day crash.

Location-wise, it’s hard to beat: about a five-minute walk to the beach and easy to reach if you’re driving.

Overall, Our Space Marbella felt like a reliable, friendly coworking spot where you can genuinely get things done. No distractions, no over-the-top luxury - just a solid place to work with a few very nice perks. I’d absolutely use it again.

The Pool Marbella

The Pool was the most expensive coworking spot I tried in Marbella, and you feel that the minute you walk in. I went with a Day Pass - 50 euros - mostly because I’d heard so many people talk about it and wanted to see if it lived up to the reputation. It’s definitely not a casual “I’ll just pop in for an hour” kind of place, but more of a full-on workspace experience.

The first thing that stood out to me was the community. A lot of coworking places claim to have one, but here it actually feels real. Most people seem to work in tech or creative fields, and they’re surprisingly open and friendly. You get this sense that everyone’s doing something interesting, which naturally makes you feel more inspired to get your own stuff done. It’s easy to strike up a conversation at the coffee machine or end up chatting with someone during a break without it feeling forced or awkward.

The space itself has been designed really well. There’s a huge glass roof that fills the place with light - the kind of light that doesn’t give you a headache and the whole layout feels open without being noisy. The furniture is comfortable, actually comfortable, which matters more than I want to admit. After a few hours you really appreciate a chair that doesn’t ruin your back. They also have a little garden area where you can step out for a break, and it instantly calms your brain. It’s small, but it makes a difference.

What you get for the price: fast internet, great meeting rooms if you need privacy, and a big lounge area with a kitchen. There’s even a restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch, which makes your day a lot easier if you don’t feel like hunting for food in the middle of work. Everything is clean, organised, and clearly looked after.

Another thing I noticed is how genuinely helpful the staff is. They’re present, but not intrusive - the kind of people who remember what you asked for and follow up without you having to repeat anything. It adds a level of comfort that not many coworking spaces bother with.

Is it the priciest? Yes. Does it feel like the “premium” option in Marbella? Also yes. If you’re looking for a place with a strong sense of community, a beautiful workspace, and really good energy, then The Pool is worth the splurge. It’s one of those spots where you end up staying longer than you planned because it just feels right to work there.
